Every dwelling still needs a compliant AS 3660.1 system, but a Cape Cabarita apartment stage spreads far more plumbing and services across one large slab than a single house does, so pricing and scheduling look different even though the underlying barrier is the same. We quote directly from the plans so the number of penetrations and the staging around other trades is worked out in advance.
Properties directly bordering the park or Kendall Reserve get the closest attention, since lawns, trees and leaf litter there give spiders, ants and possums cover right up to the boundary. Blocks further back still need a compliant system, but we spend more time on the park-facing perimeter where a block sits next to that green space.
Standing water near a slab edge is exactly the kind of damp ground termites prefer to forage through, so we look at how a Cabarita block drains before finalising the barrier plan, particularly on waterfront sites close to the river or the bays.
